Cybersecurity And Robotics: A New Chapter Begins In Patna

Patna, August 23, 2026: The Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) inaugurated several important centres in Patna, marking a significant step towards strengthening cybersecurity, robotics, technical education and innovation in the region. The inauguration was led by IETE National President Sunil, who launched the IETE Patna Centre at Shri Ram Plaza. Following this, the IETE-IIBM Cyber Security Excellence Centre (Centre of Excellence – Cybersecurity) was inaugurated at the IIBM-ZHI campus on Boring Road. The Centre of Excellence is envisioned as a platform for promoting research, innovation, practical learning and skill development in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity. The initiative is expected to provide students and aspiring technology professionals with greater exposure to emerging technologies and industry-relevant opportunities. The collaboration between IETE and IIBM reflects a commitment to developing a stronger ecosystem for technical education and innovation in Bihar, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity, robotics and other emerging technologies.

A Major Initiative In The Fields Of Cybersecurity And AI Has Been Launched In Patna.

पटना। इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं दूरसंचार अभियंता संस्थान (IETE) ने पटना में तकनीकी शिक्षा, साइबर सुरक्षा और उभरती तकनीकों के क्षेत्र में तीन महत्वपूर्ण पहलों का शुभारंभ किया। राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सुनील ने स्टेशन रोड स्थित IETE पटना केंद्र, बोरिंग रोड स्थित IETE-IIBM साइबर सुरक्षा उत्कृष्टता केंद्र तथा बुद्ध मार्ग स्थित IETE स्टूडेंट्स फोरम का उद्घाटन किया। इस पहल का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों और तकनीकी क्षेत्र से जुड़े युवाओं को साइबर सुरक्षा, आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI), रोबोटिक्स, डिजिटल तकनीक और तकनीकी नवाचार के क्षेत्र में बेहतर प्रशिक्षण एवं व्यावहारिक अनुभव उपलब्ध कराना है। नए केंद्रों के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को आधुनिक तकनीकों की जानकारी के साथ-साथ शोध, प्रयोग और उद्योग की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप कौशल विकसित करने के अवसर मिलेंगे। IETE-IIBM साइबर सुरक्षा उत्कृष्टता केंद्र विशेष रूप से साइबर सुरक्षा के क्षेत्र में प्रशिक्षण, जागरूकता, अनुसंधान और तकनीकी क्षमता निर्माण को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा। वहीं, IETE स्टूडेंट्स फोरम के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को तकनीकी गतिविधियों, प्रोजेक्ट्स, नवाचार, कार्यशालाओं और विशेषज्ञों के साथ संवाद के अवसर प्राप्त होंगे। कार्यक्रम के दौरान 2026–28 के लिए IETE बिहार की नई कार्यकारिणी की भी घोषणा की गई। इसमें प्रो. एम.पी. सिंह को अध्यक्ष तथा डॉ. रोहित सिंह को मानद सचिव नियुक्त किया गया। IETE और IIBM की यह पहल बिहार में तकनीकी शिक्षा एवं कौशल विकास को नई दिशा देने के साथ-साथ विद्यार्थियों को साइबर सुरक्षा और एआई जैसे तेजी से विकसित हो रहे क्षेत्रों में करियर के लिए तैयार करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

New Chapter In Cybersecurity And Robotics: IETE Patna Centre, Cybersecurity Excellence Centre And IETE Student Forum Inaugurated

Patna: A new chapter in the fields of cybersecurity, robotics, technical education and innovation has begun in Patna with the launch of the IETE Patna Centre, IETE-IIBM Cyber Security Excellence Centre, and IETE Student Forum. The initiative brings together IETE and IIBM Patna to provide students with opportunities for practical learning, research, innovation and industry exposure. The Cyber Security Excellence Centre will focus on developing expertise in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, robotics, digital technologies and emerging technical fields. The initiative is expected to strengthen collaboration between educational institutions, researchers, students and industry, while preparing students to meet the growing demands of the technology sector. The launch marks an important step towards creating a stronger ecosystem for technical innovation, cybersecurity awareness and industry-oriented education in Bihar.

IETE And IIBM Patna Forge Partnership To Promote Technical Education And Innovation

Patna: To promote technical education, innovation, and industry-oriented learning in Bihar, the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Patna and IIBM Patna have jointly undertaken three major initiatives. The IETE Patna Centre at Shri Ram Plaza and the IETE-IIBM Cyber Security Excellence Centre at Boring Road were inaugurated, along with the launch of the IETE Students Forum (ISF). As part of the initiative, Prof. M.P. Singh (IETE Patna) has been appointed as the Chairman and Dr. Rohit Singh (Director, IIBM) as the Honorary Secretary for the 2026–2028 term. The partnership aims to equip students with cybersecurity expertise, technical knowledge, and industry-oriented skills, while creating greater opportunities for innovation and professional development.

Students Pay Tribute To Seven Immortal Martyrs

On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, a group of students and teachers visited the historic Saptamurti Shaheed Smarak in Patna. The memorial commemorates the seven brave students who were martyred on 11 August 1942, when they faced British bullets while attempting to hoist the Tricolour at the Secretariat during the Quit India Movement. Students and teachers offered flowers at the memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs. During the visit, teachers also introduced the students to the historical story of the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the youth during India’s freedom struggle.

IIBM Students Pay Tribute To Martyrs

On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day on 11 August, MBA, BBA and BCA students of the Indian Institute of Business Management (IIBM) visited the Shaheed Smarak (Saptamurti) and Amar Jyoti to pay tribute to the seven brave student freedom fighters who were martyred on 11 August 1942. The students remembered the young revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives while attempting to hoist the national flag at the Patna Secretariat during the Quit India Movement. As part of the educational visit, the students also visited the Bihar Legislative Assembly and met Deputy Speaker Narendra Narayan Yadav. They toured the Assembly premises, Central Hall, Central Library and e-Seva Kendra and learned about legislative procedures and the paperless working system. The students also saw the historic 54-metre-high Clock Tower near the Old Secretariat. Prof. (Dr.) Rohit Singh, Group Director, IIBM, said that the visit provided students with an opportunity to closely understand history and democratic institutions.
